I've already devouredthe book (how you like my use of words, Lawrence...appropriate, huh?) ! Your imagery is beyond belief and you painted in words the places we camped and visited and loved when you and your sisters and my children were growing up and our families camped up at Smokemont and Mt. Pisgah! You sucked me into the plot from paragraph one and the suspense just kept building until I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. At one point, I just had to put the book down and gather myself into a "place" that I could continue reading. I'm so proud of you, Lawrence, for setting your own path at an early age and simply "becoming" your destiny. Hope you're already writing another mystery for me to devour!

Mrs. Brabara,

Thank you so much for the kind words and thank you for coming to the signing. it really means a lot to me that you did. I'm glad you were able to get in to it -- and yes "devour" is very appropriate. I am working on a second novel ( a different publisher has already shown interest) I hope it will be out late next summer. I will certainly give you a heads up as to when you can devour the next one. Thanks! :)
