Coming this spring from Holladay House Publishing is the latest version of The Devil's Courthouse. I am very excited about the renewal of this novel and look forward to being out on the road to promote it once again. It will be officially re-released May 2015. It will have a new cover, new ISBN and an excerpt of Spearfinger, the follow-up novel to the The Devil's Courthouse slated to arrive in 2017. Thanks again for everyone's support!

Good news! My latest southern thriller, Tidal Pools, is going to be published. I am very fortunate to be associated with Evening Post Books out of Charleston, SC as my new publisher. I am working with their editorial board now and we are planning a summer 2012 release for Tidal Pools. As more develops on the new book, I will certainly let all of you know. There is also a possibility that EPB will soon retain the rights to The Devil's Courthouse which could mean a possible ...Read Full Post »

It's been an extremely busy fall and I would like to thank all of my friends and readers who have helped to make it such a wonderful time. I especially want to thank Malaprops in Asheville, City Lights in Sylva, Blue Ridge Books in Waynesville and Bearmeats indian Den in Cherokee for the warm and gracious receptions they provided me for the various presentations and signings over the last couple of weeks. I also want to thank my friends at Swift Books in Orangeburg, SC for...Read Full Post »

Malaprop's in Asheville will be hosting a book signing for The Devil's Courthouse on July 31st at 7:00 pm. I would love it for anyone who happens to be in the area to stop by for the presentation and signing. This is a good showcase for the novel as Malaprop's is the largest independent bookstore in the area and steadily provides great exposure for the novels they promote. I'm still working with other stores about signings as well but it is a frustrating process...Read Full Post »

I have to admit, knowing that the first official review for the novel was coming out had me a little on the nervous side. To this point, most of those who have read the book have all been very generous in their positive comments (thank you, thank you), but I was still worried what the mainstream reviewers were going to say. A few days ago, I also received nice emails from Ken Burger (Post and Courier columnist, author of Swallow Savannah) and Charles Mc...Read Full Post »

That is when all major venues will have it available. Those of you in the hometown who do not want to order through the mail can get a copy from me at anytime now. Just give me or Joni a call and we will be happy to get it to you. Again, thanks to all of you for your support.
